Moonstone has a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5 and can be briefly rinsed under lukewarm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. For energetic cleansing, moonlight is the most powerful method — leave it on a windowsill during the full moon to recharge its lunar connection. Selenite charging, sage smoke and sound cleansing are also effective. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight. Store in a soft pouch to protect its delicate adularescence.
