Lepidolite is a very soft crystal (2.5–3 Mohs) that must never be placed in water — it is a mica mineral that will flake, dissolve and lose its structure when wet. Cleanse with sage smoke, selenite charging, moonlight bathing or gentle sound vibrations only. Handle with care as lepidolite can flake along its layers. Store in a padded pouch away from harder stones and any source of moisture.
