Labradorite has a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5 and can be briefly rinsed under lukewarm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. For energetic cleansing, moonlight is especially powerful for this mystical stone — leave it on a windowsill during the full moon. Selenite charging, sage smoke and sound cleansing with a singing bowl also work beautifully. Avoid saltwater, harsh chemicals and prolonged sun exposure. Store in a soft pouch to protect its labradorescence.
