Jasper has a Mohs hardness of 6.5–7 and can be safely rinsed under lukewarm running water. Dry with a soft cloth. For energetic cleansing, this earth-connected stone responds beautifully to being placed on soil or buried in the garden for a few hours. Moonlight, selenite charging and sage smoke are also effective. Avoid saltwater and harsh chemicals. Store in a soft cloth pouch.
