Celestite is a very soft crystal (3–3.5 Mohs) that must never be placed in water, as it will dissolve. Cleanse with sage smoke, selenite charging, moonlight bathing or gentle sound vibrations from a singing bowl. Handle celestite with extreme care as it is fragile and chips easily. Avoid sunlight which can fade its delicate blue colour. Store on a stable surface padded with soft cloth, away from edges where it might be knocked.
